Create a test plan

How to create a test plan

A test plan refers to a group of students that you are preparing to administer the Naglieri General Ability Tests to. Please note that your student roster must be imported into the app before you can create a test plan.

To create a test plan:

  1. Click the Manage Test Plans icon in the left navigation menu.
  2. Click the Add a test plan icon in the blue banner on the right-hand side of the Test Plan Table.

The test plan form will open.

  3. Enter a unique Test Plan Name . You can refer to this name if you need to search your test plan
    list.
  4. Select an Expiration Date for your new test plan.

This is the date that the access codes will no longer work. Note that the codes will stop working on the day that you selected and not the following day.

  5. Click Ok . (You must click Ok in order for this date to be reflected in the test plan.)
  6. Select the Tests and Order you want the tests to appear in. Note that you must select at least one test to include.
  7. Select the Purpose of Assessment.
  8. Select the School the test plan is being made for.
  9. Select the Grade form you would like to have administered. This will filter your student roster to include only the students who are in that selected grade.
  10. If you want to further narrow down the student group for this test plan, change the Select by Class toggle to yes and then select the Class.
  11. Under Plan Roster, the student list will be filtered by the selections made in previous fields. By default, all students are selected. To de-select a student from a test plan, uncheck the box beside their name. You can only include up to 75 students per test plan.
  12. Click Generate Test Plan to save and generate the test plan.

Once you create a test plan, you should see the name of the test plan appear in the Test Plan Table after 3-5 minutes.

Note: The ability to edit or delete a test plan is currently unavailable. Before generating a test plan, make sure all the information is correct. Once a test plan is generated, it cannot be altered.

Please be aware of the following:

  • The Test Plan Table displays the test plans you’ve already created. You can search for a test plan by
entering a search term in the search bar. You can also filter the test plan based on a school name.
  • Each test plan has a status. If the test plan is generated, that means all or some students have not yet
completed the tests. If the test plan is completed, that means all students have completed all tests.
  • If you click the PDF icon for the test plan, the PDF will open. You will see all the information entered for
the test plan, and a list of all of the students included in the test plan, with each student’s access code.
  • The test access code is what the student will need to enter in order to access the Naglieri General Ability
Tests. The student can be given the access code and use it to log in, or the Test Administrator can log in for
a student. Please see the Administration Manual for more information.
  • To share the test plan with another person, open the PDF for the test plan by clicking the PDF icon,
then download the file. You can now share this file by printing it or sending the file through email or chat.

You cannot edit or delete a test plan. We recommend you create a new test plan if the initial test plan is missing information, or if you have updated student details.

If you made an error on a test plan, you will need to disregard that plan and create a new one.
