Use the settings

Higher Education settings

The Higher Education settings allow you to set preferences for the recent activity page, and modify your invitation default settings.

To use the settings

  1. Select Tool Settings from the menu options on the left

    The Higher Education Settings page appears.

  2. Make your selections for the following options:

    Recent Activity Settings

    Choices made here will display or hide sections of the Recent Activity page.

    • Show Quick Tips Section

      Select the checkbox to display the Quick Start steps. Deselecting the checkbox hides the steps.

    • Always Show Summary Details

      Select the checkbox to display the Summary Details. Deselecting the checkbox hides the details.

    Invitation Default Settings

    The first time you enter information (such as the contact name or security options) during the invitation process, the information becomes the default entry for all subsequent invitations. You can change the default by accessing the Higher Education Settings page and changing the fields below.

    • Contact Name and Contact Email

      Enter the individual’s name and email address to receive notifications about assessment completion, expired links, etc. (Note: If you do not select to receive notifications on the invitation pages, no emails will be sent.)

    • Email Domain

      The email domain entered here will be the default domain on the security page.

    • Report Limit

      The report limit entered here will be the default limit on the security page.

  3. When you are finished, click Save Changes.
Both of these options are security settings. The security settings are important if you have selected Yes to automatic generation of the Summary Report, and you want to use the Open Invitation. For more information, please see the Open Invitation help page.
