Send reminders
Participants and raters with a status of pending have been invited to take the assessment but have not yet completed it. To send reminders, follow the instructions below.
To send an email reminder to all pending
- Click either the Participants tab or the Raters tab.
- Click Send Reminders to All Pending.
The Email Reminder dialog box appears.
- By default, the pending raters and participants from All Folders will be included. If you want to send a reminder to only those from a specific folder, select the folder from the folder drop-down menu.
- All participants and raters will be sent the reminder by default. To stop reminders from going to one group or the other, deselect the related checkbox.
- Click Next.
The text for the participant email appears.
- Make any required changes to the email text. Do not delete the <Link> variable. If you do, the participant might not receive a link to take the assessment.
- Click Next.
The text for the rater email appears.
- Make any required changes to the email text. Do not delete the <Link> variable. If you do, the rater might not receive a link to take the assessment.
- Click Send All Reminders Now.
- A dialog box confirms that the reminders were sent. Click Done to close the message.
After you send reminders to the participants and/or raters, the date the reminder was sent will appear on the Participant Details page and/or the Rater Details page.
To send a reminder to specific participants
- Click the Participants tab.
- Select the check box to the left of the participants that you want to send a reminder to. The participants should have a status of Pending.
- Select Send Reminders to Selected from the I would like to… drop-down menu.
The Email Reminder text appears.
- Make any required changes to the email. Do not delete the <Link> variable. If you do, the participant might not receive a link to take the assessment.
- When you are satisfied with your email, click Send Reminder Now.
- A message confirms that the reminder was sent. Click Done to close the message.
After you send the participant a reminder, the date the reminder was sent will appear on the Participant Details page.
To send a reminder to specific raters
- Click the Raters tab.
- Select the check box to the left of the raters that you want to send a reminder to. The raters should have a status of Pending.
- Select Send Reminders to Selected from the I would like to… drop-down menu.
The Email Reminder text appears.
- Make any required changes to the email. Do not delete the <Link> variable. If you do, the rater might not receive a link to take the assessment.
- When you are satisfied with your email, click Send Reminder Now.
- A message confirms that the reminder was sent. Click Done to close the message.
After you send the rater a reminder, the date the reminder was sent will appear on the Rater Details page.
- Locate the participant’s listing on the Manage page.
- Click the participant’s name.
The Participant Details page appears.
- Look at the date displayed beside Last Reminder. If no date is displayed, that means that no reminder was ever sent.
- Locate the rater’s listing on the Manage page.
- Click the rater’s name.
The Participant Details page appears.
- Click the Raters tab.
- Look at the date displayed in the Last Reminder column. If no date is displayed, that means that no reminder was ever sent.
