The summary report
Reports provide assessment results graphically and textually. The EQ-i 2.0 Higher Education provides the following reports:
- The Student Summary Report
- The Student Comprehensive Report
- The Counselor’s Report
All three of these reports are included in the purchase price.
The Student Summary Report is a seven-page report that describes the entire EQ-i 2.0 model and provides an interpretive summary of the participant’s results on six of the subscales (their top three and bottom three scores). Results for the remaining subscales are shown with development strategies for all 15 subscales to ensure the student has plenty of resources to improve all of their EI skills. Actual scores are not included in the Student Summary Report; only interpretive graphs are presented.
This report is best incorporated into a feedback session with the student and an appropriately qualified counselor.

You have two choices when it comes to generating a Summary report:
Automatic generation. You can choose to have the report automatically generated after a participant completes the assessment. The option to auto-generate can be turned on during the invitation process.

To view a generated report
After you have generated a report, the report can be viewed as a PDF on the My Reports page. However, this option is only available for five days after the report has first been generated. If you want to see the report after that time, you can regenerate the report, free of charge.
- Click the My Reports tab.
The My Reports page appears.
- Click the link for the Summary report beside the name of the participant.
Depending on your browser, the report will either be saved to your computer, or you will be given the option to view the report immediately.
There are currently two population norms to choose from:
- Overall. The participant is compared to all of the general population norm.
- Gender-Specific. The participant is only compared to those in the same gender. Note that this norm will only be applicable to participants whose selected gender is either male or female.
If you select the Gender-Specific norm for an automatically-generated Summary Report, any participants who do not enter a male or female gender will be scored against the overall norm.
- On the Select Template page, select the template you want to delete from the template drop-down list.
A Delete Template button appears at the bottom of the page.
- Click Delete Template.
A pop-up appears asking for confirmation.
- Click Yes to confirm.
The selected template is now deleted from the drop-down list.
You will be charged 30 tokens for generating the Summary Report if:
- You have not already generated the Comprehensive & Counselor’s Report for the participant.
- You are regenerating the Summary Report with a different norm than what you had originally selected.

The participants will each receive an email with a customized link. Clicking this link opens up a web page where they can download their Summary report.
