How to create a new group

The Group Report combines the scores of individuals in a manner that allows interpretations to be made at the group or team level. Because an assessment score is needed for interpretation, all participants included in a Group Report must have previously completed the assessment and had an individual report generated for them.

Note: Group reports are not available for all assessments.

To create a new group

  1. Click Reports in the left menu.
  2. On the Create a New Report Page, click the Group Report icon.

    The Select Group page appears.

  3. Select Create a new group from the drop-down list.

    Two text boxes appear: Group Name and Group Description.

  4. Type a name for your group in the Group Name text box.
  5. If desired, enter a short description of your group into the Group Description text box.
  6. Click Next to proceed to the Select Participants page.

To add participants to the group

  1. On the Select Participants page, click Add Participant.

    The Select Participants list appears. Only participants whose status is Scored are listed. If you cannot find a participant on this list, it means they have not yet completed the assessment.

  2. Select the participants you want for the group.
  3. Click Add to Group to add the participants to the group.

    Once added, the individual listings are removed from the pop-up to prevent you from mistakenly adding the same participant twice.

    Note: You can add up to a maximum of 1,400 participants to a group. If you add more than that, you will be prompted to remove participants from the group before generating a report.
  4. Continue adding participants. If you can’t find a participant, you can use the search options at the top of the page.
  5. Click Finish when you are through adding participants.

    The pop-up closes and you are returned to the table on the Select Participants page.

  6. To delete participants, click the check boxes beside them, and then click Remove Participants.
  7. Click Save Group.
  8. Click Next to proceed to the Select Template  page.
It is not necessary to continue with the report generation process after you save your group. You can return to a saved group at any time by selecting it from the drop-down list on the Select Group page.

To undo the deletion, click Restore GroupAny participants who have been deleted since the group was last saved will be returned.
