Add resources

Add resources to the report

Resources can be added to both the Summary Report and Comprehensive Report when you are customizing the report template.

The resource section of the template allows you to provide the participant with up to four resources to strengthen their EI skills. These resources can be associated with your school or organization, and can include:

  • Support Services
  • Publications
  • Websites
  • Seminars/Courses
  • Organizations
  • Workshops
  • Support Groups

A listing for the book The Student EQ Edge: Emotional Intelligence and Your Success is included by default as one of the resources. You can enter up to three additional resources.

The resources you enter will be saved with your template and can be edited at any time.

To add a resource

  1. On the Select Template page, select a resource type from the drop-down menu in Resource 2. (Resource 1 is pre-filled with The Student EQ Edge and cannot be edited or removed).

The text boxes in Resource 2 will fill with specific prompts depending on the resource type you selected.

  2. Enter the required details into each text box (see sample below).  You do not have to complete all of the boxes; however, you must enter text into at least one box underneath the resource type.
  3. If you want to erase the contents of the resource, click the Clear button.
  4. Repeat steps 1-3 for Resource 3 and 4. (Note: You do not have to enter additional resources if none are available.)
  5. Check the spelling of all resources. Any typos entered here will appear in the report.
  6. Click Save As Template when you have finished entering your resources.

Your new template now displays as on option in the Template drop-down list. To re-use the template at a later date, simply select it from the list.
